NIKOS Express

History:

NIKOS Express is a continuation of a family business started by John Nicolopoulos, who was originally from the village of Sterna in Messina, Greece. John emigrated to the United States in 1902. He arrived via Ellis Island and eventually settled in Market Street in Lowell, Massachusetts.

John was an adventurous man and was always self employed. He sold milk in Lowell, MA and the surrounding area. From there, he entered the trucking business and owned three Mack Trucks that hauled produce.

He had a thriving business and maintained a phone for his business at 56 Commercial Street in Boston, MA. Although John passed away in 1923 after a bout with pneumonia, his legacy continues today through NIKOS Express.
